Green-pe is made from Brazilian sugarcane and is the main raw material for Dulce Worlds products. We source green-pe raw materials from BRASKEM in Brazil and work with Dulce Worlds partners to create goods made entirely of sugar cane Bagasse without the use of petroleum plastics. Bagasse, a byproduct of sugar processing, is distilled into ethanol to make the product. It is made from the fibrous residue left over after refining sugar, so there is no chance of decreases in food availability or any harm towards the natural environment.
